Cart works smoothly with Megadrive 2. Haven't tried to flash it, yet. Will do with a real parallel port in a few days.

I've got an original megadrive2 on ebay, should arrive in the next few days. If the cart won't work with this then I assume the cart has a problem. But I'm pretty confident that it works with it.

When I put the Cart in the megadrive it seems to work well but the pre-installed games refuse to start. Neither "start" nor a,b,c,x,y,z don't start anything. ...

And between which pins (or whatever these guys are called) is the power supply usually?

EDIT: I read somewhere that pin 1 is +5VDC and pin 4 is ground, ...

5V USB Power supply should not be a problem, either getting power from my laptop usb or from a 5V usb power supply unit.

Hmm, if parallel-to-usb cables won't work... do pcmcia-to-parallel cards wo ...
