I'm not sure I understand your question regarding the capacitors and the power supply.
As I mentioned you need a MD1 9V 1.2A center negative and the 2 capacitors are 220uF16V

I thought I'd share this one for a funny little twist.
So I picked up this old school pirate GB Zelda cart.
It's got a 27C400 OTP for ROM, a PEEL for mapping and a MB8464 for SRAM.

Does anyone know if GDSF3, 6, 7 are compatible with CR-521
and/or CR-522 drives?

They could work as a 523, usually there are minor modifications between those but you might have to use the ROM fro ...

It turns out all the 3 mode floppy drives I have, their controller ICs weren't compatible.

I ripped a floppy drive out of an old Windows 95 computer and it works very well now. For anyone reading ...
