The light is up all the time.

When the drive is not connected i get the "no disk" message but now the copier directly freezes when i access the drive. (the logo animation stops,...).

Update: I build out the board again, cleaned it a bit and now it works again.

Noooo.
I just connected a straight cable to the FDD and it made the usual noise directly when i put the power in, the light went on and stayed on.

But the copier just won't boot up...black screen. ...

But it still won't work. I think the plug is a little little bit smaller than the SNES plug and it does not fit perfectly in the Super Ufo.

Hm yeah of course i thought about that too, but i'm trying to continue being optimistic.

Yes, because the NES/SNES supplys have an 9V, 1.3A output, so i thought i'd give it a try. Embarassed

I just checked and saw that the power supply i used was only able to handle up to 800mA.
Now I'm wondering if i could use the supply from my PAL NES?
It says Output 9V, 1.3A.
