Well, yes, I have a Snes powerpak. But they did not exist over 2 years ago when I posted this.

Did you run a cable from the external parallel port back inside, or did you solder directly from the diskdual ide/parallel adapter to the dx2 PCB?

You need to test it with a real Snes, to find out if the same thing happens.

I don't think power is the issue here - you would see similar problems on other games, unless the fx chip in the mario cart is drawing extra power. Any other fx chip games to test?

Graphic glitches etc.... - as the gd7 is known good on another Snes, I would suggest the contacts on the non-working snes need a very good clean (and possibily rebending to make a better contact)
