I did try on a second desktop machine. It still refuses to flash in turbo mode. However it does do a better job in "non-turbo" ...

Hello,

I've finally got a parallel port that supports the old school 278 address space working and my PCE pro only worked a couple of times and now it refuses to flash more than a few KB of data... ...
