Well all i can say is try both settings High and normal.
If still no luck buy a card from Ebay for around 12$ .
You can get an EPP card pretty cheap there.

Go back in your bios and look where it says your port is ecp Highlight that and look closely at the way your bios says to change something.

I had planned on using an original NES ac adapter for it. It's 9V 1.3A I believe. Should work well. I think 800mA may be too low, but if it worked for you, then maybe it isn't.
