|
|
It is original nintendo 32M (16M x 2) flash cart. Seems, it support up to 48M in size (need to add 1 more 16M flash chip). You can not flash it by yourself. When you want to flash new game on it, you need to goto the game shop, pay money, then you can flash new game. And it support multi games.
These picture is from one of my friend. And I buy two carts from him too. Need some time to check if I can flash it or not.

If you can't figure out how to unlock flash for writing, maybe /WR from the ASIC can be bypassed directly to the console.

Wow, I never heard of this. I think I might have heard of the carts, but never saw a machine! If there is a rom on the cart, has it been dumped before? Not that I want it, but the historical part of my brain wonders.

Most if not all NP (Nintendo Power) roms are dumped.

Only one game in the list... Super Wagyan Land!
I saw one of the NP kiosks for sale online a few years ago (2005?) but for the life of me can't remember where. I DO remember it went for a ridiculous amount of money...

It won't apart from the menu somewhat. The games are bankswitched so you'd need to add your own support for your copier in uCON64. Many might not leave the dumping algorithm up to the PC though, so you'd need to write SNES code to switch the copier back to BIOS mode, copy the menu and games to RAM then reimplement the parallel port protocol...

|
|
I just picked one of these SF memory carts up today here at a local shop for about 2000yen.. It has Super Mario world, Super Mario Collection F zero and Gradius 3
Anyhow, I bought this in hopes of flashing it myself.
Has anyone made any progress on this?
