Hi Tomy,
I want to buy a MD-Pro device but I read in forum that it isn't possible to flash it with new computers. Indeed they don't have built-in LPT port.
It also seems that "PCI to LPT" cards won't work, same for "USB to LPT" devices.
I don't have and I don't want to get an old computer. Do you have a solution to this problem. I'm sure you already tried it before? you should modify your flashing software to support PCI to LPT cards... |

Tomy will probably never update this software to support this kind of card. The demand is too low and unworthy of the effort.
FYI most ppl on this board or using Tomy's accessories do have an old computer with a parallel port for the simple reason that an old computer is cheaper than any of these cards or usb adapters and will solve your problem right away. I just found a complete celeron 3.0ghz on the street the other day. |
