Hello,

I recently got a DPF for my Genesis, but I'm unable to get it to work. It loads roms fine however, but after loading is completed the screen turns black. The dpf detects the whole 32mb ram, but there is no option to test the ram. Do I need to stick in a genesis cart to the top of the DPF? Because if I do so, i cannot load anything from disk anymore. Weird....
Maybe some1 can help me.

Some questions for you:

1. Which game are you trying to load? Maybe it has copy protection and needs a an [f1], [f2]...?

2. Is your game NTSC or PAL and what format is your tv?

3. Do you have a power supply connected to the DPF?

Also, I don't remember having to use a cart.
