What are the progresses of tototak snes programmer since 2007 (last time I bought one).

still old printer parallel ports? all modern PC don't have this port anymore
still can't dumps SA1 games and other special chip?
still can't dump Tales of Phantasia and the like?
still has trouble dumping SF memory cassettes?

Please tell me it has made a lot of progress so that I buy a new one.

Thanks.

The world has changed a lot since 2007 but tototek snes programmer didn't budge. Time to look for a used Super Wild Card.

I'm not sure that the Super Wild Card (DX2 I assume you mean) can dump SA-1 games either. I have hear with some detailed knowledge it is possible possibly with some custom software. Not sure about other chips. I think the "Retrode" can dump alot of games, but it still may exclude the SA-1.

I would probably just get the actual SA-1 games if I were you. Even after all these years, no backup unit/flash cart will play SA-1, FX, FX2 or other special chip games and I doubt one ever will at this point. That's what I did. I am currently using a SNES PowerPak and it works great.

He wants to dump them, not play them. As you said, no copier plays them. But he's asking for one that can copy them.

The only question to ask really is why do you need to dump them? Do you have undumped SA-1 games? If you do, it may be a good idea to get in contact with someone with the hardware setup to dump them so you can send them the cartridges or get them to help you get the equipment needed. If you have some sort of prototype game then it should be on eproms which are easily dumped by removing them from their sockets.
