Funny to see how this thread turned
Treasure unveiling! Keep it coming!
@CrackLtd
Sorry it's not mine. It could have been but the guy asked way more than I was ready to pay for.

I see on the Super Magic Card box that it mentions a 5 1/4" disk system--does the copier also connect to a 5.25" floppy drive through the Disk I/O port, or is it used for something else?
What software program does it use to access through the COM port, and is it used for writing & dumping disk Magic Card format images to/from a PC? If not, what is used to write & dump Magic Card format disk images?

The 5.25" was never released (the box that comes with it is from an original Magic Card, but it's not the original original MC box). FFE reused boxes and some products had multiple types of boxes, even the Magic Griffin.
The disk I/O port is for the standard Magic Griffin-Magic Drive-Magicom floppy.
The last time I tried was way back in 2003/2004 but I couldn't get VGS and uCON64 to work with the COM port. I think the functionality was never fully implemented.
Yes it's where Magic Card files are from, but it doesn't dump carts of course, or even disks really, what it can do though is translate Magic Card 2.8" disk sets into linear binary dumps. It's really buggy and doesn't work for a lot of disks though so I know nobody manually dumped all the Magic Card files with this method. Like Bung and Venus, FFE must have had a custom PC interface dating back to 1987 so they either used that, or more likely they mass-converted their "master" ROM set.

Thanks, kyuusaku!
So, from what I'm gathering, there's no known way to write Magic Card formatted images to FDS disks. Is it possible to convert the files so they can be written with an MGD1 & Tomy's MGD Linker software?

I have the Blue Adapter, but not the PCE one.
You think this can be sourced from old hw?
Also what was the one at the end for?

AFAIK most of these adapters are proprietary and were most probably taken from old hardware.
The PCE might be more difficult to source.

The CON2 or the Game Gear?
For the CON2 I'd say a secondary power source but I haven't traced the PCB so can't tell for sure.
