|
|
I have a mega-cd 1 whose cd drive could not read disc. I am wondering if I could dump its bios using megacart.
Also, is there any place I could check out the manual of megacart? Thanks. |

There is no need for the drive to function to dump the BIOS unless you needed to load a program from CD to dump it.
The website for the MegaCart may answer other questions. http://products.genny4ever.net/ |

So, is that correct that I do not need to run the utility disc at all to dump the mega cd bios?
Also, once I get the dump, how can I transfer it from the cart to a PC? Is it using a parallel port or a USB port?
Thanks again. |

I'm not sure how you plan on dumping the BIOS. If the Utility disc does it, then yes you need the drive to work. If you have some other method of loading a program to dump the BIOS you can try that.
I have not used the MegaCart, so I can't say for sure how you would dump the BIOS with it. |

I'm not sure. You might try contacting Fonzie at the website I linked. |
