As the thread title says. I'm struggling with the ROM backup function of this SNES copier.

The device writes the game data to your SD card as a .UFO file. I'm having 2 particular inquiries with this:

-What must be done to convert the .UFO file to .sfc? Is it just a matter of renaming it? Is there anything else to do to the backed up ROM file, like removing the added header?

-So far, the first game that was backed up does not work on any emulators; also, it's exactly twice the size of a regular SNES game ROM (apart from the added header, of course). It wasn't just an overdump where the second half of the data is identical to the first half. This game works just fine on an actual SNES; it's the backed up ROM that's failing to run on emulators. What could be the issue here?

Help is appreciated.

Even ZSNES does not work for me. Is there any settings to change in the device's menu? It's producing a bad ROM dump (ROM file is twice the size of a regular SNES ROM file, and full of corrupted data). The game works perfectly fine on regular hardware, though.

A prototype of a SNES game. Maybe you're right, the cartridge must be cleaned.

Well I can't get it to dump the ROM properly; if it gets dumped, I need to see if the data is different from the final. If it is exactly the same as the final version, well it's already available Smile

I will do that, too. But it works perfectly in a SNES and with the Super UFO Pro 8.

Thanks for your help so far Smile
