Thanks for the links about the TOP853. Actually I just started dumping some BIOS so I'll open a new thread for that.
I was wondering if there was a way with the current software to make some custom IC mapping to dump mask roms?

As far as I know this is the MGD floppy adapter and it does only work with the MGD. Have you tested it with a Game Master?

Why do you think it is the MGD adapter? My understanding is that the MGD1 adapter and the later GM/MGD1 adapter shells look exactly the same, but that the bios and PAL is different.

Having said that I still need to test it - the proof is in the pudding Smile

i have this strange backup unit for snes by exa hoink kong lmt called cyclone model exa-001, it missing adapter and it's incompatible with other adapter...i tried swc, pro fighter, doctor and mgh adapter but without success...it's doesnt fit well and it give me black screen...if anyone have it please can share photo of board af adapter with measure near? horizontal and vertical so i can ask some manufacturers to riproduce it...i hope that you help me

pic 12 of your Cyclone is really strange, it looks like and upside down crystal hotglued on top of the fdd controller. It must be original as I check from an another pic I had and it's the same.
I recall having seen the bottom adapter and it must be a simple straight through. It looks like most of the lines are going to the cartridge port so you could figure it out this way.
