Hello!

I recently got such a copier and was wondering if someone could help me with these questions:

- BIOS: My copier came with an 8.3J EPROM, Does it mean it could also be compatible with 8.8C (which I believe is the last version?), if yes, anyone knows where I could find the ROM image to flash it? By the way any interest in a dump of the 8.3J?

- MANUAL: Menus are quite explicit, but anyone has a copy of the manual? Mostly interested to know if there are specific joy pad button combos for in/out game operations.

- FLOPPIES: The floppy drive seems to work perfectly fine, I could use it to format disks, dump cartridges to disks and then load the titles back, no problem. However, it is impossible for me to read these floppies on a USB floppy drive, and similarly if I format the floppies from the PC, they are unreadable on the copier (at best I get a file listing, but unable to load anything without the machine giving up quickly). The disks I tested are all fine and works perfectly on the device that formatted them. Could it be that the copier is using non standard block/sector/etc formatting? How do people write such floppies these days?

Thanks!

Hello,

Bios 8.3J must be in Japanese as default language right?
8.8C will work and can be found with a 2 sec google search:
https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwjOsbyiyorxAhUdzTgGHd92Bwo4ChAWMAB6BAgEEAM&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.emurom.net%2Fus%2Femulation%2Fsuper-nintendo-roms%2Fdetail-48331-super.ufo.pro-8.v8.8c.bios.html&usg=AOvVaw1AbchAU2kDkkg5OiyRHO7S

Ufo floppies are standard FAT12 so readable on PC. It seems you have an alignment issue with your floppy drive in your Ufo or your PC. Try another drive or switch it from one machine to the other.
