Hi all,
while recoding the SMD bios, I found JSI used a floppy library with 5 1/4 support so my question is : on which backup system JSI also coded the bios ?
I would like to find if they coded their own floppy library or used another one (which I'll never find the source I think!)

Hi Kaneda 
JSI coded pretty much all the bioses on FFE machines:
Magic Super Griffin, Super Magicom, Supercom, SMD and Super Wildcard.
The MSG might have been the first one. |

Im pretty sure that MM is right on this. JSI was one of the original creators (if not in fact the original) of most copier BIOS for FFE. I've heard stories of people locating him but I think he still stays under the radar due to copyright infringement law suits. |

SMD bios is on Z80 assembly.
I wonder if JSI coded a new or recoded the same driver every time.
SMD first versions had a protection on track 80 (or something like that), does it happen also on one of these backup devices ?
If yes, it could prove JSI recoded the (almost) same driver each time.
But I still don't understand why there is data about 5 1/4 floppy on the driver

JSI is also mentioned in the SWC DX bios and I believe he did the whole SWC DX2 bios, taking code from the original SWC DX bios, modifying it and creating a new device.
SWC DX was mainly JSI and Pan/ATX afaik maybe a couple other guys like TWK and one other coder I forgot the name (probably mentioned in the SWC DX bios rather than Pan aka "paninero" [not mentioned, probalby side nickname] as I recall)
