infinite health FFC689:F1
max main weapon FFC687:F1
infinite special FFC689:03
all cd rom games you add the codes to the syscard file then the duo will load from that with the cheats |

infinite lives FF0681:03
this game is very buggy with the cheat.
some times the stages will not load right you will just hear the music...
it is very random. i dont know why it does this.....
FFCXXX seems to work with most games but some need ff0XXX.
got my turbo duo working on my HD dlp tvs vga port with the help of a rgb amp and a sync separator circuit. love the pixel perfect video
got me in the mood again to play my duo and make some cheats.

i use hugo on my xbox. it is not that easy to make a cheats with the pc ver of hugo.
i am bugging the creator of magic engine to make a cheat search in their next ver.
i am not a programmer. i cant see it being too hard.
the first few emulators on xbox for many systems had cheat search engines. most of the values will work on the real system and action replay.
to make cheats in the rom permanent you will need to disassembly the rom and no op the right value/register.
To help some how you would need a debug program to set a break point at the ram value to help you find the needed rom value(s)
Well that is how I make trainers for xbox games. .net+xbox debug bios, dash and sdk
.net is the debugger. |

I would love a debugger in Magic Engine too, it would be 1.0's greatest accomplishment. Hehe, I've used a breakpoint or two, I just didn't know that there were any resources out there for PCE developers.
So you make Xbox trainers? Any public ones you wouldn't mind disclosing so that I may check them out eventually? :D |

It's a long story, but a long time ago after I got tired of HuGo (DOS)'s nearly useless cheat system, I devised a way to use Magic Engine savestates to find cheats.
There's a great program for Sega Master System/Game Gear Action Replay codes called "SMS-GG-SuperSearcher" that searches for cheats by comparing save states from various SMS emulators. What I did was write a script that takes the RAM out of an (uncompressed) Magic Engine savestate, and insert it into a SMS save state. Since both the SMS and PCE have 8k of RAM, they correspond well. SuperGrafx games are done similarly, but one Magic Engine save state of an SGX game is split into 4 SMS savestates. I wrote a script to automate this easily enough. So all I have to do is play in Magic Engine and save up to 4 savestates, and use the SMSGGSS to search through them. Not so difficult at all.
1941 (SGX) codes:
FFC820:06 - Infinite life & bombs
FFC80B:59 - Infinite weapon time |
