| Is it possable to Mod a SNES RGB Cable for Component...Like Slicing the RGB Cord & get 6 RCA Plugs & Wire the Colors together |

| No, SNES processes video in RGB only; you will have to transcode RGB to component with an internal add-in board or externally with a set-top box. |

Huh, I know the signal going in the Component Video going to be just RGB, Downgrading it
Edit: I know if it did work..The SNES would be outputting RGB not Component, It's just being a RGB hook-up without buying like a Converter for like $80 online |

You've lost me. RGB is not "downgraded"; because the SNES natively outputs RGB, RGB output is the aboslute best signal you can hope to achieve from the console. Any time you process the video, you introduce loss, even component video will be lossy.
Component video is not compatible with RGB, (unless the display device can accept 15.7kHz Csync RGB over the component input + composite to grab Csync.) You must buy one of those "$80" converters, it's the only way, there's no way you can have component output without active parts to preform the color space conversion (from RGB to YUV--"component") and combine the sync signal. |
