Hello, I purchased one of your Mega Cart V1.X products. It seems very good, but I need to use it more to figure our all the things it does. I have a couple of questions if you dont mind;
- What is the Mega Cart V1.X Adapter? Is it like the cartridge slot uploader hardware that comes with the MD-PRO?
- What does it plug into? Does it plug into the Mega Cart cartridge and into your PC via USB?
- What is it used for? What things can you do with it that you cant do without it.
- Are there any pictures of it anywhere?

Hi, thx for purchasing 
Don't forget :
-Hold A for Jap Bios
-Hold B for Usa bios
-Hold C for European bios.
-Hold Start to boot an utility disc (and flash rom from disc)
-Hold nothing to get the megacart menu (with backup/restore and play rom functions).

It is the same thing yes... if you already have a mdpro, you can use it

Like MDpro, you need to plug BOTH printer cable and usb cable to get it working. It requires an EPP compatible printer port (very important).
Then you run the megacart_driver (downloadable at megacart website) and all is ready.

Basicaly, you can upload roms, upload bios, get back backups to the computer...
But you can do same thing with the utility disc so it isn't required, yes.
To burn an utility disc, just take the megacart_driver tool, put all your binaries rom in the utility_disc/disc_content folder and generate a burnable iso using the utility disc command from the megacart_driver
Then use nero to burn the iso on a CDR (file>burn_image and select the .cue file).
To boot this cdr on your segacd, just hold Start at startup and enjoy
