|
|
I've searched for information and I'm ready to buy a PCE-PRO flash cart for my Duo-RX. Is the compatibility with all PC-Engine games flashed onto the PCE-PRO a 100% success rate? Well, are there any games that do not work with the flash cart? Is there any Linux/Unix users out there who have managed to successfully use the PCE-PRO flash cart on Unix/Linux?
Thanks...

I found out that UCON64 works under FreeBSD, great! I successfully made a multi-game ROM (using "pceboot.pce" as the loader), and I tried it on an emulator, but it didn't work... I choose a game and the screen flashes and reloads the loader menu... |

Emulators don't emulate PCE-Pro's CPLD. |

Oh, I see. I thought the stand-alone ROM would work just fine. Well, I ordered my PCE-PRO a while back (about a day ago) and paid. I have yet to receive a response about shipping... How long do they usually take? Thanks for responding... I thought this place was dead! |

Hi, I think tototek is in hollydays, as written on the main page. They'll come back in 10 days.
No problem about your order, it will be shipped/taken when back to work, i guess.
See ya

You may want to read my previous post on a similar sounding issue:
http://www.tototek.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1319
The short of it is, I sent it back and Tomy said when he got it and tested it, it worked, yet I had problems out the wazoo with it
I asked Tomy just before the New Year break to try loading NTSC/US roms on it to see if he experienced the same problems I had and I'm not sure what the status of that request is now since it was before the break.
fingers crossed |

It seems to me that the parallel port is becoming loose... I'll read that thread, thanks!
EDIT: It seems to be working when I insert the db25 cable firmly... meh. I shouldn't be panicking like that! |
