Here's what I got (I also have two 500gb HDD's full of Gamecube ISO's - nearly all GC JAP/PAL/USA games):
1. XBOX 1 system softmodded
2. 200gb HDD built in
3. 2 xbox controllers
4. component video cable
5. DVD remote
6. three 500gb USB HDD's full of XBOX1 games (nearly every USA XBOX1 game)
price:
$800 firm (payable via PayPal, not a penny less so don't ask to go lower)
consider trading for the following (cash/trade combo's considered)
- Dr NES PC Jr (NES copier)
- PowerPak 512mb bundle from www.retrousb.com
- Famicom AV version (a genuine japanese AV famicom, no clones) with AC adaptor ready to play in the USA (box not needed but would be nice)
- Famicom disk system in good working order and a good collection of disk games
- Double Pro Fighter 32mb (or better) snes/genesis copier (if you got a parralel port adaptor or CD drive, even better)
- Z64 256mb backup unit (not interested in cd64 or v64)
- N64 system with at least 2 controllers
- Super Magic Drive 24mb (or 32mb if it exists)
- Super Wildcard DX2 32mb or higher SNES copier (if you have a Super Famicom system, even better!)
- Disk Dual for Super Wildcard DX2
- Super Magic Griffin (TG16 copier)
- Neo MD 3in1 genesis/MD/32x backup unit
- Sega CDX system (or sega genesis + front loading CD system)
- Sega 32X system
- Atari Jaguar + Jaguar CD system (must have both together)
- MGD2 setup with SNES/Genesis adaptors, 32mb DRAM, PC engine/Master System adaptors
- Neo Geo CD System
- Turbo Duo RX system

Would you pay for any of the items or only trade? I'm not interested in a pile of warez but I would consider offers.
I'm open to reasonable offers on:
Brand new Japanese N64
Brand new Super Famicom
Mint loose PC Engine DUO
Good loose PC Engine DUO R (Turbo Duo RX doesn't exist)
Mint boxed AV Famicom
Fair boxed/manual modded Famicom Disk
Practically new PowerPak with my own custom mappers and 1Gb CF
Super Magic Drive 16M (I have many in various conditions)
Mint complete SWCDX2 64M (right now it's broken, I might be able to fix it, not sure)
Good-mint Magic Super Griffin
Mint complete Japanese Super 32X
Mint complete Japanese Sega CD 2 (modded with my own BIOS)
Poor-fair Genesis 1 systems (modded to Japanese region)
Poor-fair N64 systems (sloppily removed plastic to play imports)
I also will part with 200-300 Famicom disks once I dump and erase them.
Are you in the East Bay (Area), CA?

I MAY consider cash but would rather trade. It depends on what prices you had in mind. I am really not good with making cash offers so if you could give me prices of what you have, that would work.
Are you also in the east bay area of california? |

Well as I said, I'm not looking to sell, but I am very tempted by good offers. If you offered $300 for the PowerPak I would be stupid to not take it :)
Regarding the PowerPak, I made mappers (configuration files) for numerous Taito, Bandai and Konami Famicom games which the author of the PowerPak doesn't have supported yet. In other words I may be the only guy who can play Contra J, Dragonball Z games and Akumajou Densetsu on the PowerPak. Some of them have glitches to be sorted out but I've stopped working on them for now.
Regarding the SWCDX2, there was a big soldering accident 4 years ago so I don't remember exactly how bad it is. I just know that the unit's ASIC needs to be carefully cleaned up and soldered back into place, hopefully all the pins are still there and aren't too bent up.
Regarding the Mega CD2, it has an EPROM installed. I don't remember what's on it, probably just dual Mega CD/Sega CD BIOS to use with a switch.
I am not in the Bay Area right now but I'm from Alameda. |

Like I said, I am really not good at making offers. I am willing to make cash/trade offers though. I am very interested in that FDS collection you have but how do you plan to dump/erase the disks? |

Nice you have added support for VRC2 games like Gryzor(contra j)
is this an update that needs to be flashed to the powerpak? or can it be dumped to the flash card?
if the later do you plan to share the file?
thx
my powerpak running gryzor in rgb is my main goal
i dream of that day. |

Actually the Japanese name is Contra with 100% certainty :P
Mappers are just files on the CF card, so to update you just need to replace the one file/mapper.
I've reinstalled the development software for making mappers, but I've overwritten my mapper 23 (VRC2/4) with another mapper by accident. I'll work on it again soon... VRC2 games like Contra was working perfectly, but VRC4 games were not because I couldn't get the IRQ counter working properly. Just as before I'm not sure I can get it working now, but VRC2 will be fine. Beyond that, another issue is that Konami games have protection. I had to crack Contra for it to work, this can be worked into the mapper file, but until I get the mapper up and working again, I can't begin to work on that part. When I get both of these issues resolved, I'll release the mapper to NESDev. |
