|
|
I have a SWC DX2 and for some reason I cannot send ROMS
I have tried 3 PC's with different parallel port settings (EPP, ECP, EPP+ECP)
3 different parallel port cables (connected from the PC parallel port to the COM I/O Port on the SWC DX2), VGS and SNEStool and I cannot get it to send properly.
Any ideas?
Oh I am running XP and I have my parallel port configured as EPP+ECP |

I have no experience with the SWC DX2 (I don't even know what one is!) but you have not mentioned in your post the I/O address of the parallel port - 278, 378 etc. This makes me ask is it set right in the BIOS and in your linker software? |

Software isn't allowed to access the parallel port directly in NT as DOS apps do. You must use uCON64 or a program to give VGS etc port access. |
