Just wondering if those Parallel to USB adapters would work for a laptop that has no parallel ports going to either a Super Wild Card DX or Super Magic Drive.
Here is a link to the cable

For $10 it would be well worth it! _________________ www.videogameobsession.com |

No, they will not.
And parallel ports aren't RS232; RS232 is a serial port protocol. |

It appears to have a, RS232 > DB25 adapter though.
SO even if it wa the correct IEEE DB25 male to usb adapter it wouldn't work? _________________ www.videogameobsession.com |

Yes, it's a DB25 connector but it's still a serial port. Even if it were a parallel port to USB adapter it wouldn't work. |

In the old days serial ports came in 2 flavours 9 pin and 25 pin. They both carried the same signals, just used different connectors. Nowadays the 9 pin is mostly used. |
