I have this exact same copier io Wink
I'm looking for a way to set the background color to blue (no flags) directly on boot, automatically, i wonder how is the updated BIOS (if it has those stupid flags or not) and if it would work on our system..
Later,

That's what I thought after seeing your pics. And I would like the blue background at boot too Smile
Do you have a 2.01 BIOS ?
Have you ever tried a parallel adaptator ?

EDIT : I just realized that your first pic is showing Axelay, one of my favorites shmup... at the end of the game in the hardest mode it says "See you in Axelay 2..."... sadly, I'm stilll waiting Wink

Re-
Yes i have 2.01 Bios too, but i never tried the parallel adaptor on this copier. It loads very fast anyway (compared to my old Pro Fighter Q, at least twice the speed!)

Ahh Axelay, so fantastic at the time. Indeed i wish we had #2 as well. Wink
See you,

Yes that one has an internal DSP chip, or at least it should have as the bios displays INTERNAL DSP: ON/OFF

Sorry to bring an old thread up but I just picked up SPRQ+ with DSP and the config screen shows that the DSP chip is off. How do I turn it on? Or, do I really need that cart to enable DSP?

Some of the old SPFQ+'s came with a DSP internal option or a DSP cart. Did you try inserting a official DSP game and see what it says?

It recognizes that the IC Card has a DSP chip but the Internal F still shows DSP as off. I inserted PilotWings. Oh Well, it looks like I need that DSP cart.

Thanks for your help!

I'm not sure how those PFs with DSP work, but did you check inside for a DSP chip? I think my PFX w/out DSP has that same DSP thing on the menu and it doesn't have the chip.
