Hello,
I noticed that The MD and SMS cards come with a programmer that can read AND write to the flash card. If I were to try to read from (or dump) a cart in my collection. would it work? If not, what would happen?

Actually, I read nearly every post...I just didn't really find this answered satisfactorally. Forgive me for asking, but what is "junk data." Why is it called that?

Flash ROMs have a certain way to be written/read, combine that with the custom circuitry in the flashcart (that the loading device probably expects to always be there) and it seems unlikely it could dump normal carts.
You'd likely get invalid data, junk or whatever it could be called. |
