Hey folks,
Ok, so it has been stated that these dev kits won't dump original carts. I'm going to get the SMS, GG, PCE, and MD kits anyway (and almost undoubtedly the others planned!) . So, I was hoping you could suggest the best way to actually dump originals.
Let's see:
For GB/GBC: GB Xchanger
GBA: Flash 2 Advance
Genesis/MD: ?
SMS: ?
PCE: ?
NES:? (PC Jr? Is that right?)
Anyone care to suggest others?
There's a lot of devices out that dump carts. Which ones are best for each system?

Most backup system are used to run stuff already that's been dumped.
more cost effective way is find what you want on some good sites.

| CopyNES is the best device for dumping NES carts, but very few people have them (only a dozen or so were made). If you have some undumped carts, I know some people who might be willing to do it. |

Perhaps not the best way, but probably the easiest:
GBA: Flash 2 Advance / Flash Advance Linker
Genesis/MD: Super Magic Drive / Multi Game Doctor 2?
SMS: Perhaps SMD plus converter?
PCE: Magic Super Griffin / Multi Game Doctor 2 |

These are the best ways except for SMS, SMSreader is probably a better solution, I wouldn't know :) |
