What do you think about a small manufactured mod package for the NES2 that would enable a user with some basic soldering skills to easily produce the NES2 A/V mod easily without the hastle of going out to their local radio shack for parts and wasting time putting it all together?

This mod would include all neccessary components on a predesigned circuit board and neatly packaged in a small enclosure box that could snuggly fit inside or around an NES2.

Not a bad idea, but is this the mod that was recently discovered to take care of the vertical lines issue, or is this the same old mod that everybody used before that? Not a lot of people know about the new mod, so I thought I should ask.

Some folks hate the 72 pin connector on the toasters, but yeah, it's a valid point.

Or be elite and get your NES RGB modded. I have one and it's awesome! Smile

But seriously, an AV mod on an NES2 isn't worth it. Many people have problems with vertical lines, and overall video noise probs. If you have your heart set on the design of the NES2, perhaps you should get an AV famicom since it has the SNES/N64 style video connector.

no way, I paid a lot for it since it was custom made (i had to hunt down my own Playchoice 10 for it's PPU which was nearly 100).

Of course I would like a magic super griffin and bung multi x-changer....

I think this would be a great idea as long as it takes care of all known line and such in the picture on the TV. I have two myself that I would buy two kits along with instructions on how to hook it up. Hopefully it would be very simple and not as hard as some of the mods on the web are.
