Hi guys !

I purchased an MGD2 backup unit with dram some time ago, but I never took the time to run it !

I now realise that I'll need some help Laughing

I've got a japanese megadrive (genesis) system

This is the way the devices are plugged together:

Is it all right ?

If yes, can someone teatche me the next step ?

When I run the MGD2, i get three signs on the lcd screen when I press the rectangle button: MG, SA or LO... What is it about ?
Then when I press one of the round buttons I got "E6" and the floppy drive makes strange noises. Is it regular ?
Some times I get an arrow that is heading to the top
Some times I get a succession of symbols that ends withe EV...

I'm some kind of lost, please someone help me !!!

Thank you very much

PS: of course I know that i need to feed the beast with roms, actually I've got a nice collection of .bin megadrive roms...

That looks to be hooked up OK, the GM option is what you want for loading a game. After selecting GM, you can use the +/- buttons to select a game off the floppy. It should then load the game and the display will turn into a spinning icon. I'm not sure what E6 is, though.

Look at that site too, everything you'll need to know about the MGD2.
