Is there any way to use a 32Mb game like Super Street Figher 2 or Toy Story
with my 32Mb flash cart? I always get an not enough space error. I think that
it's because of the 512 byte header of the SMD format, so the ROM is
4MB+512KB instead of 4MB. If it's the reason, Is there any possibility of fixing?
This is not really a problem since most games doesn't go up to 3 MB, but I'd
like to know if I can use them.
Thanks in advance.

Super Street Fighter 2 is 40M, so you need a 64M card. I don't know what's wrong with Toy Story but it's not because of the header. When you flash a game, only the game is written, not the header. SMD headers are completely useless to anything other than a SMD.

My SSF2 ROM is 4.194.816 bytes long, same as Toy Story, since 32Mb are 4.194.304 Bytes, there are 512 bytes more that I thought to be the problem, but if you say that the header is not written at all, I can't find an answer to my question. Anyway, thanks for your reply. If anyone has either an idea of how to fit those roms in the cart or knows that it's not possible at all, I'll be very grateful. Until this weekend I'll not be able to make any test and of course, if I find an answer I'll let you know. Thanks a lot!

You must have a bad dump because the game is without a doubt 40M, it's the largest Genesis/Mega Drive game.

Yes, it's a bad dump for sure. I've just tested it with Gens and it has no backgrounds. It's really a strange dump... On the other side, I was using ver. 1.1 of DreamWriter and i've seen that it's up to ver.2.1
I'll let you know my progress. Anyway, I'd like to know if anyone has been able to flash a 4MB game on a 32Mb cart.

No way of flashing a 32Mb game... The total amount of data avaiable in the cart afther being deleted is about 31.5 Mb. (This can be read in Dreamwriter).
I haven't noticed this before but for sure it's the problem. Any fix? Thanks!
