Hello!

I'd like to buy a Doctor SF7 from Tototek. I see that next to the title, it is mentioned that it is "for NTSC SFC".

Does that mean that it is only compatible with Super Famicom consoles or with US NTSC Super NES as well?

I have both a US SNES and a PAL SNES, but I would really like to use it with my PAL machine. Is there any way I can modify (either the Doctor or the PAL SNES) to use the Doctor there?

Thank you!

You can use it with any console but Tototek means it's best used with the Super Famicom. The GDSF7 will come with a NTSC lockout chip; so you can by default only use it on either Super Famicom or NTSC SNES. It will be wobbly though on a US SNES, so you'd have to put something underneath it to support it. To use it with your PAL SNES you'll need to get a PAL game you don't like and desolder the lockout chip and replace the NTSC chip with a PAL one inside the GDSF7.

I have the "Mini" redesigned version of the US SNES, do you think there will be any difference? But as long as it will work, it's no problem anyway. Thank you!

thing that sucks about the Smaller SNES/SFC is they don't support RGB output without a mod.
