I get this error when trying to add games to the transfer queue. Not all games do this but some games (Castlevania Bloodlines for example) do this.
Does anyone know what this error is and how to correct it? I am running DreamWriter v2.1 and my OS is Windows XP (parallel port set to EPP). I have the 64mb version of the Genesis flash cart.

I don't have to log in at all but I know I have admistrator priviledges but that's beside the point since some games don't do this while others do |

| Logic suggests that if this only happens with particular games, it's a problem with DreamWriter (it's accessing memory it shouldn't) and likely has something to do with the processing of the internal Sega header. Maybe you should stick to homebrew heh |

but is there a fix for this? That's the most important question, because I am sure this has happened to others (saw a post on this before, but no concrete answer or fix) |

| The only real fix is to debug the program yourself or try to get someone else to. In the meantime, assuming that ONLY specific games cause this issue and that it isn't your setup, you could compare the header to another working game's (of the same size) and determine what's crashing DreamWriter and fix the ROM. I wonder why more people aren't having this problem. Have you tried another version of DreamWriter? That should be step one. |

| By the way, I tried flashing the cart with the same game on a Windows 98 PC and I still get the same error. Tried with versions 1.6 and 2.1 |

Ok, I was never able to get Ucon64 to work with the MD-PRO in XP, but trying it out with a Windows 98 PC, I finally got some of those problem games to transfer.
no more Access violation at adress 004CDF90 in module 'MDMTLK.exe'

| uCON64 works perfectly fine in XP, if you follow the directions exactly you shouldn't have any problems. |

there really should be a step by step to get it to work in XP. I have spent litterally hours trying to get it to work in XP |
