Any preferences for an old laptop choice to use with backup devices?

Obviously it would need a parallel port and preferably USB to use with ToToTEK stuff.

Since that is all I would be using it for, things like horsepower are superfluous. I guess I'd want to be able to add a larger harddrive to it, like a 2.5 160GB IDE to hold the rom collections. It would need to be sturdy since it's going to be used already and used for a lot more years to come.


Keep in mind I'm a Mac user, have been since the late 80s. I have some PCs, even built one or two in the last couple years but when it comes to choosing outdated hardware, I have no idea what to look for.
