It is really obvious (being an atariage member) that atari systems are still very popular. Besides the cuttle carts (which are rare and expensive as hell), there really is no other viable flash carts (not counting the supercharger). 5200 flash carts are a little easier to find though.
I think there should be flashcarts for these systems. A Vectrex flash cart would also be great. |

Are you going to take up 5200 and Vectrex homebrew? Seriously there are multicarts with every game and existing homebrew for those consoles. Even if you were to take up homebrew you can use an EPROM cart with EPROM emulator. |

what about 2600 and 7800 ? a cuttle cart 2 is grossly expensive and rare, hence, the need for a flashcart for both of these. Vectrex multicarts/flashcarts are also hard to find. |

The Sean Kelly Vectrex multis are frequently on EBay from Sean, you just have to keep searching. There's another guy who just made a new Multi that has everything the SK v2 does as well as pretty much every homebrew game and demo ever released. At this point there's little to no need for a Vectrex flashcart unless you plan to do development, but I highly doubt that. If so, there was a link to a Vectrex flashcart as well, which is a nice little unit. |

well when cuttle cart 2's do show up, there is a fierce bidding frenzy and they go for no less than $400-$450, hence the need for an updated, cheaper alternative. The guy selling vectrex has been out for months (says he is waiting for cartridge cases, but that won't happen for another month or so). |

I know someone who can produce you a 256 in 1 multicard for your Atari 2600 for about 50$. You can choose the roms with dips like the O2 Multicard.
But it is only for 2-4K roms, no 8K roms. _________________ The Mad Gears must pay! |

To make a 256-in-1 Atari multicart selectable by DIP, you only need the switch and an 8M ROM... Together they cost maybe $5. |

It's very complicated to make 8K roms or even more complicated to do it in a multicard. Many games used different forms of bank switching.
As i told you i only know the man who sells them for 50$ and only 4K roms and lower. _________________ The Mad Gears must pay! |
