|

I like most people here want to know WHY, u dont offer a BIGGER MD-pro-cart?
64M which is about 8MB (PC HDD space) this size just dont cut it. i want all my 32x romz on the one cart!
i see alot of Gameboy carts doing 1Gbit, or 512M, so i ask, why cant the MD-pro offer this? and yes im willing to PAY the extra, hey maybe u could make a USB only cable to it, or support for flash cards! at what ever cost u sell it for, i would buy it, and so would everyone else!
thanks for your time, |

a cart that takes SD or Compact flash would be ideal. I don't see the Neoflash MD cart comming out any time soon... |

well if ToToTEK are making these MD-pro carts with 64M, why cant they just upgrade the RAM on it to 1Gbit? |

1) Because Tototek's products don't use RAM for game storage
2) Because 1Gbit of RAM (or flash) is really expensive and can't be hand soldered
3) Because it makes no sense when the average game is 8Megabits!
If you just want to have all your games ready, get the MegaCart for Mega/Sega CD or wait until someone makes a NAND flash card device. It would be incredibly stupid to use 1Gbit of NOR flash for game storage since it costs only like 100x as much. |

Guys, the genesis can't read a cartridge bigger than 64MBit or something like that. |

No, it can only read 32 mbit. Higher MEGA POWER requires bank-switching. |

Despite the expense, I would still pay extra for a cart that is much larger or can have removable memory.
