So i got my GD7 in the mail today, after hooking it up, i tried to load a game (Killer Instinct) that i had put on floppy's before getting it, but the drive started makeing really fast and loud noises, and would not load.

So i tought (after a few tries) the drive might be bad, i took a old drive from a old pc, and installed it to the GD7, but it still didn't work, the drive also makes strange noises, nothing like noises it should make when it was in a pc.

i cant format disks on it, becouse it keeps telling me to "insert a disk please" a system test also fails, when it gets to the drive it ask me to insert a disk, but it wont load it.

if i try to load a game, it ask me for a disk. if i eject the disk, and reinsert it like 10 times, it says "loading" but nothing happens, no progress bar, nothing.

This is all with the other drive i put in.

I did dump my SMW cardridge to the memory and im able to play that.

Am i doing something wrong or did i get a broken device?

Order Number: 71
