I wish someone had an answer for this, I am wondering the same thing, so it's possible I could install a 2.88MD drive in my GD6? |

I don't believe so. Not on backup devices that don't have it as a built in option. I think SWC DX2 had this and SWC DX did not. I'm not sure what else would support this drive. It's too bad, I mean it was too bad back in the day, since this kind of drive and disks were rather pricey. These days everyone that wants a good mod uses a CF or SD card reader of some kind. Where are you going to acquire floppy disks for the 2.88? They don't make floppies any more. And floppies are easy to scratch. _________________ -RTS- |
