Hi, I'm new here, I have a doubt, I've got an SWC SMS3201 24MB, with 2.7 BIOS and I want to upgrade but the only thing I found is a SMC ROM that I can load but is not upgrade of BIOS, just a ROM and when I turn off the SWC, loads again the 2.7 BIOS
How cand I upgrade the BIOS, and it's difficult? I need something special?
It's just to copy files to floppy disk and it works?

| The BIOS is contained on an EPROM inside your SWC. To upgrade your BIOS you would need someone to program the newer BIOS onto an EPROM and then physically remove the old one and insert the new one. Is there something wrong with your copier? You shouldn't need to upgrade the BIOS. |

I want to update for any possible improvement, but I read that It's more or less the same, it's right?
If I upgrade the BIOS I win any improvement?
and, I want to upgrade the memory from 24 to 32 MB, If I make, I have to upgrade something special or i'll work fine with 2.7 BIOS?

| There is a thread here about upgrading from 24m to 32m. It's likely more work than it is worth. |
