I'm working on a port of my DOS flashing app to Windows. Now, it's not only a port, there's actually more features.
Any comments? |

Looks good! If I had one suggestion, it would be to extend the file list box over the whole width of the window as filenames for carts can often be VERY long. |

Will be released tomorrow. I've taken your advise about the filebox-size btw, ChillyWilly |

Release time!
So I finished everything up and created the final executable, binary and source packages.
Download page here
The download page includes binary and sources to both DOS and Windows versions. Please read the included README.TXT / SOURCE_README.TXT before doing anything.
Thank you and please comment. |

Very nice! Now I have a decent front-end for the Windows side. |

He he! Thanks!
By the way, is there something like VB for Linux and Mac OS? I'd love to create a linux and MacOS version. |

Nostalgia!
Joke aside, gambas and Mono do look rather interesting. Does it support VB6 projects too? Vb6 is not based on the .NET framework. |

You are my hero!! yeah, the Tototek program is pretty darn buggy so this is a huge relief. Especially since ucon64 is not easy to use (I'm not much of a DOS person...)
Great stuff, you should tell Tototek to put it on their main page.
EDIT: I started using the program and there are some issues.
1) The program window compresses some of the buttons on my screen and I uploaded a image to show exactly what I mean:

Changing screen resolution and even changing to 16bit did not resolve this.
2) When flashing games the program would freeze up half way through (but only with larger file sizes). This was pretty scary since I was afraid it would damage my flash cart (luckily it did not).
3) Flashing is pretty slow compared to DreamWriter but this is due to ucon64 I presume and not your Windows version. A minor issue.
Just including this to help improve what looks to be a very promising new program. Good luck and I hope this can eventually replace DreamWriter as the MD-PRO software of choice! |

I tried your program and it looks to be much better but somehow program cannot detect my 32M cart. I installed I/O driver as suggested on ucon64 FAQ but still program cannot detect. Configuration appears to be correct. |

I had a similar problem once... until I double-checked and found my parallel port wasn't set to EPP mode. Double-check... it's vital. The programmer won't show at all in the wrong mode. Also make sure the USB cable is hooked to a port on the motherboard or a POWERED hub or it won't supply enough current to run the programmer. |
