TGD 6+ is not use only cable. It need a ISA card and a cable to connect to PC. It can use for backup FDS and reprogram FDS. Now, it is very rare. I have one before. But forgot put where, maybe losed.
TGD 6+ use standard famicom disk system (FDS), so, it is easy to find from ebay or many shop. But games are difficult to find. |

I've got two TGD6+ devices, one faulty, and one working But, I dont have any diskdrive for it, and i'd like to try and connect it straight to my computer, and emulate a diskdrive instead. Any information on this matter would be of great help!

GoodNES and a hex editor is all you need to make "files" for the copiers. After you make it, you'll still need to write the disk though. (Thats what FDSloader is for or the Venus/Bung/FFE ISA cards.) Unfortunately, Bung/Venus/FFE never made any tools or documentation to make this easier, but why would they? Only a dozen people released every disk for FC copiers. Emulating the FDS is also not a very easy task and the biggest workaround is that it requires you to use Nintendo's copyrighted BIOS, this wouldn't be a problem though if you could plug in the RAM adapter. |

Belt can be (easily) replaced, unfortunately broken disks cannot. |

It's tricky to remove those belts.
I have never had any luck. |

All you need is an Xacto knife and a small sized screwdriver. (for head alignment) |
