I've only dealt with him a couple or few times, but he was relatively reliable each time. |

I read at this site that :
" for proper function with the gameboy pocket, you will need to use an ac adapter which supplies 3V and a minimum of 1A (1000mA) output to power the gameboy"
MottZilla, is this your experience? what games (gb or gbc) need to be patched?
I offered the original poster my two 64mb doctor gb cards + linker, but no response.
I really wish they would make a flash cart larger than 64mb or one with an SD or microSD reader |

I do have a Gameboy Pocket and don't recall experiencing issues but I didn't play on it for very long at all. I use my GBA SP.
In the NESDEV Gameboy forum me and another person have shared our patches to fix certain problem games. Most games work fine. If they don't, generally they aren't hard to fix.
I too wish someone would make basically a PowerPAK equal for the GB/GBC. It shouldn't be terribly hard since unlike NES there are very few mappers that exist. Infact the linked cartridge is only slightly different from a MBC5 if I recall correctly. |
