If you're interested I can send you a uCON64 binary (has Super Flash support since yesterday). Perhaps you'll have better luck with uCON64.

Nice Huge Avatar Acem77 Razz

Outrun owns, can't wait till i get my hands on the Outrun 2 for Xbox (i played the outrun 2 demo on it and the GFX is AWESOME, the gameplay however was abit disappointing.

Like you can't crash on driving off the road, cause you CAN'T drive off the road anymore, your car has the power to drive a bus from the road without your car moving an inch or slip.

But that's off topic Razz

I recieved the uCON64 and will try it as soon as possible and post the results here Cool

i wish i could find more video game gifs. after burner would be cool.
i cant wait to try the new out run on xbox. i hear that a demo has leaked on the net. i need to find it Smile
the sega ages remake of out run on ps2 is nice also.

when i get the time i will try the ucon64 on the snes flash.
i wish they could make it so only one game can be loaded.
no multi boot image. i like to cheat with the action replay.
the way it is now i have to use the t-connecter with a real game in the back slot of it then plug that into the AR for it to work some what.
i know the md-pro will not work with the AR if you have more than one game on the cart.

now it does not lock but when i load a rom 99% of the time it is corrupt when i run it.
i had to load 4 of the same rival turfs just to get one to run good.
the 3 others crashed or had glitches.

Hi acem77,

At first, let me thank you for your testing.
To solve your problems, I'd really like to test this myself. Could you please tell me the CRC of the ROM you used? I'll test it then using my Super Flash. I hope we can eliminate this problem.

Kind regards,
JohnDie

What problems? Confused

Well i finaly found some time to test this uCON64 release

So i downloaded 1st the whole uCON64 package from the homepage and installed it in C:\Ucon64 and put this dir in my path

then i placed this uCON64.exe over the one from the package

then i ran ucon64 -version and located the .ucon64rc file and changed the dat path

then i made me 2 batch files

1. make.bat
@echo off
cls
ucon64 -multi=64 sfbotx2.gs %1 %2 %3 flashrom.bin
pause

(i never will flash more then 3 roms anyway)

2. flash.bat
@echo off
cls
ucon64 -xsf flashrom.bin
pause

Then i took about 20 roms and renamed them to the old 8.3 dos format

Now i ran "make sd.smc sd2.smc sd3.smc"

Ucon did it's job nice (i got a sd2.smc is not a snes rom) kinda like that output

but i riked it to give it a try, after confirming the flashrom.bin file was ther i connected my sf64 to the lpt cable and usb and plugged in the sf64 cart and threw the switch to on

now was the time to see if it all would go well

i types GO and pushed Enter
ucon64 booted and gave after some nice info a progress bar and that ended on 100% (yeah it was fast)

After throwing in the cart in the snes and booting up i got a BLACK screen
DAMNED, F*CK, i took the cart back out and was planning to feed it to my pcb eating fishes when i got a damned smart IDEA!!!

Let's check my cables (i got lot's of them running to my TV)

Ah, there it was, the RGB cable wasn't connected to my scartbox

After connecting it and turning on the snes i got a nice menu with the 3 games listed and all 3 ran damned fine.

So i messed around with some other games and combinations and all worked flawless

So

GOOD JOB uCON64 team!!!

You guy's just OWNAGE Smile Keep up the good work!

Ow -> i work with Windows XP Pro SP2
SIS based mobo from AsRock (cheap bastards) all onboard (lan/sound/s-ata)
AMD XP 2500+ Barton
1GB PC2100 DDR
PCI Raid Controller
etc...

acem77 seems to have some problems with his Super Flash. I doubt that it is due to uCON64, but you never know Wink

Great to hear that the Super Flash support in uCON64 works for you, too. In case uCON64 complains about sfbotx2.gs not being a SNES ROM, just put an additional -snes option into the command-line, making it:
Code:

ucon64 -snes -multi=64 sfbotx2.gs game1.smc game2.smc game3.smc game4.smc flashrom.bin

This will force uCON64 to use the SNES code (otherwise you could end up having a PCE-PRO multi-file created, so do read what uCON64 tries to tell you. *g*)

ucon tells me to use it more then i used to be! Wink

Anyway i'll add the -snes switch in my batch file to make ucan happy Smile

now we need some pocketnes for snes Very Happy Twisted Evil or pocketGB/GBC Idea

anyway, i can't program so i'll keep on dreaming Wink
