Hi Everyone,

I need some help about doctor V64,
I bought an old doctor V64 without power supply long time ago :/

+I did a PSU (with right 5/12V) with a svideo connector.
I check on the motherboard and I had 5/12V ok.
When I put the wire from multiple socket to the PSU i can hear a little "click" on the doctor64.

+I change the cd reader because I think the older dont work. With the older, the reader open alone at startup..

So now: When I switch on the doctor64, i have black screen (no signal...), the CD reader do some noise few seconds... I can open and close the reader...

+I try to put an audio CD and try to start,
but nothing appenned.

+I try with the ram on the first socket, on the second second and no Ram on the V64. But nothing change.

+I try to unplug the cd reader
(maybe the PSU is not enought powerfull). But nothing change.

+I put a n64 an the top, I switch on the n64 ( doctor v64 is switch off), and on the tv, I see the game.
So composite cable (video) is ok ,n64 <> doctor 64 <> TV.

I spend lot of time to search but now i dont have any idea to continue...
Have you got some idea to help me?

thank you!!

Hello....

I have the same Problem.... no Reaktion, black Screen...
CD-Rom is working....

I checkt the Bios (1.6) in a another V64.... it is ok...

I don't know about the 3x Relais....(2x Black, 1x Blue)

The blue Relais work when the Power is on.
