Alright I have done some searching around for this but not a solid conclusion. Games that DO NOT work on the SF6 are the SuperFX 1&2 games correct? Trying to make a list of carts that I should buy to fill in the gap Smile

Thanks

Alright, so JUST Super FX chips?.... No other fancy chips lurking around that don't work?

Any game with a chip in it other than the usual Memory chips will not work on your copier. The only exception is DSP-1 games which work on some copiers with a provided DSP-1. Some copiers just need a plugin cart, some need an adapter or chip inside them.

Games you can't play are:
SuperFX (Doom, Yoshi's Island, StarFox, etc.)
Cx4 ( Mega Man x2 and X3)
OBC-1 (Metal Combat, it may run but won't have sprites correct or at all)
SA-1 (Super Mario RPG, Kirby 3, Kirby Super Star, etc)
DSP2 (Dungeon something...)
DSP3 (SD Gundam GX)
DSP4 (Top Gear 3000)
SDD1 (Star Ocean, Street Fighter Alpha 2)
SPC7110 (Various japanese games)

Star Ocean has a hacked version that is 96mbits that works on Game Doctor SF6/7.

No chip games besides DSP-1 will ever work on your Copier because of the way many work there is no way to do anything within reason to make them work. There is a list somewhere of games that have chips, but you should be aware many lists contain games that don't actually have a chip (Donkey Kong Country) or have a game listed as using one chip when it uses another.

The most famous DSP-1 games are Super Mario Kart and Pilot Wings. There are a number of others. Here are a couple lists.

Yep, you'll need a DSP adapter for the SF6 to play the DSP games.

OooooooooK.... So I just checked the adapter between my SNES and SF6 and unfortunately it's not the DSP adapter, well at least the board inside has no parts on it... just a straight through connection. I would assume it is not the DSP adapter. Tototek appears to be sold out, bummer.

I'm not concerned with any games but US/NTSC there's enough in the collection to play for a lifetime on it's own. Never could understand why everyone loved (J) titles so much... anime craze?

Bidding on a Yoshi's Island cart right now, always wanted to finish that game but never did.... maybe Baby Mario's screaming got to me.

You guys have me addicted now.

Thanks
