Ariel Sharon was the Prime Minister of Israel until recently when he had a stroke and went into a coma. His friends usually called him Ari, among other nicknames. Ariel is a m/f name and Arielle and Ariella are strictly female. Ariel is a Hebrew name that means means "Lion of God." Sharon, while a female name, is his last name so he's safe, but it means "a flat clearing."

| See, I'd have said what he was from what country but all I could say was some old guy from the middle east that was important somewhere and then had a stroke or something. I don't know how you could have not known it was a dude unless you live in a cave and don't watch the news. ;p |
