The only SNES clone I've seen out there was based on the 2nd generation SNES, which had slightly cheaper parts overall. I can't comment on the quality though, I didn't get a chance to play it. |

The carts aren't blank. They use ROM chips the same as normal carts do. They have just burned them with different data. It's not possible to buy a programmable cart that holds that many games (yet), ... |

Nope. I tried the menu files from 2.1-2.3 while running version 2.34 of the software. 2.1 & 2.2 the menu comes up but the games are just scrambled, and with 2.3 it locks up the same as 2.34.
