It doesn't have to be an NTSC unit, but there were issues with the connectors on the bottom of the PAL units, IIRC. Is the connector between the N64 and V64 white or black?

yeah some of the roms are in .v64 format and some are in .bin i believe. the doctor 64 itself recognises the roms and tells me the name of them once theyve been loaded into the ram but when i turn on ...
