i was wondering if it is possible to install an on/off swicth for the CiC chip in a super famicom, and if so, how?

anyone had any experience with this? does it realy work? will super mario rpg and terranigma run?

Super Mario RPG uses the SA-1 chip and will not function in the opposite region (NTSC versus PAL). Even if you disable the lockout chip, SA-1 will see you have done this and refuse to run the game.

Terranigma will function with the lockout disabled. You may need to use a patch or code to defeat the software lockout.

thankyou, but i do realise that. supposedly the mod i posted a link to tricks the cart into thinking there is an ntsc cic chip still, and it runs, i was just trying to confirm that. but i still realy want to know if i can put an on/off switch for the cic chip, im sure its possible, but i cant find any info on it, thanks.
