Ok, I'm having issues with both of my Super Magic Drive & MD+ at being partially recognized by the pc port. I'm using RBDutil and Segatool (windows XP)..
When using RBDutil for example, I'm able to open files, send and run. But it can not recognize or read if there is a game in the cartridge connector port (no access to cartridge info) therefore not able to dump it either..Segatool in the other hand does nothing, I can't even send it and run it (device error! )...
The thing is that my SNES Super Magicom unit works fine with the same transfer cable and pc port (set to LPT1)..RBDutil is able to support every feature for it, including reading the SNEs carts and all.
Does the SMD and MD+ need different settings?..Am I overlooking something?..
Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks for your reply. I'm actually trying to figure out how to install ucon and its contents properly, I'm such a newbie at these things... |
