If a cartridge slot adapter from Sega Genesis to Jaguar was made would the eeprom be accessible to the Atari Jaguar? What would such an adapter have to do besides switch pins?
It's a half-baked idea and I clearly don't understand what I'm talking about. But, I'd like to hear from my more learned peers what the challenges might be.

The rom header in the cart specifies the width and timing, so you would have to modify those values to fit the MD-Pro when using it. The Skunkboard is 16 bits, for example, and works with virtually all games. So you could make an adapter for using flash carts for other systems (like the MD-Pro) on the Jaguar.
That's what the Myth series from NeoFlash is - a group of adapters that allow you to use a GBA flash cart with a different console. |
