I got my hands on 2 units last year and finally managed to finish the restoration of the 1st one, plagued with issues.

This copier is based (licensed or cloned?) on one of the Pro Fighter PCBs with minor modifications for the main board and another weird one: the DSP and RTS are included in the cart connector.
It looks like Intelligent had already cloned the PCB then realized they would need to add DSP and RTS support before release as based on the BIOS date of 1995, the PFX was already providing these functionalities. .
This translates into quite a few patch wires on top and bottom of the PCB and a GAL piggying back on another one.

The operation is similar to that of a Pro Fighter. If you have a cart on top and press B at startup/reset the cart is dumped to RAM and tested.

For the little story regarding my restoration, I believe this first unit stayed in the mud for some time following the Bangkok flooding of 2011. These beige stains are typical of the electronics I picked up then.
The cart connector was shot so I put a new one, the RTS Ram in the bottom connector was faulty so I replaced it with one from a GB cart, one of the RAM IC had to be replaced and all caps were changed as I was getting intermittent garbled screen due to the one nearby the 7805.
The Samsung FDD needed some serious clean up and greasing but it's all working fine now.

You'll notice the patch wire near the bottom connector is using redirecting A15 to the EXPAND pin. My guess is the GAL inside the bottom connector is for HighRom support.

Last but not least here's a dump of the BIOS. I've had many issues with my Eprom programmer so I hope it's complete even though those many gaps are suspicious.
Maybe it would even work on a Pro Fighter, you can give it a try burning a 27C512 or equivalent.

My guess is the C in v5.5C stands for Chinese as it's the default language showing up, switchable to English via START.
If my memory does not fail me I seem to recall the original English default BIOS was v5.5

At &191D the warning screen you find in later Pro Fighters, luckily not present on that interface

At &0FA0 you can see the remains of the BIOS it's been copied from with "CCL ALL RIGHT RESERVED 93/05/02"

At &C000 you have the list of cheats included

Here's a little update as I restored a 3rd Super King. This one had minor issues and a broken protection diode on the power connector. Check those first if your FDD is not powering up.

It has an earlier v5.4 BIOS with English GUI only. The other difference is the message you get when you switch floppies. For the rest I guess I'll have to dump it, which I'll do at some point.

Maybe at some point I will part with some of these machines as I don't need that many copies but don't count on it in the short term Wink
